About Sarah

Sarah loves looking beyond conventional solutions and brings fresh, innovative perspectives to her work that help her understand each participant’s unique journey. Her priority is developing highly adaptive strategies that meet participants’ needs today while evolving with their goals for tomorrow.

Prior to training a BSP, Sarah worked as a teacher in schools with low ICSEA scores and Specialist Schools with a strong focus on trauma-informed pedagogy, social-emotional learning (SEL). Sarah was offered a position in the National Exceptional Teaching for Disadvantaged Schools (NETDS) where she completed specialized study pathways with a focus on Education Psychology, trauma-informed practice, and supporting at-risk families.

Sarah joined the Ready Steady Achieve team so she can focus on her passion for reducing the stigma surrounding disability and additional needs. With a calm and compassionate nature, she is committed to building strong, positive relationships and being an advocate for her participants, their families, carers and support teams.
