Behaviour Support Practitioner

About Alexia

With a background in teaching and psychology, Alexia brings a thoughtful, compassionate, and person-centred approach to her role. Passionate about building genuine relationships, she believes that taking the time to truly listen is the foundation of providing meaningful support.

During her time in education, Alexia found the most rewarding moments came from working one-on-one with students and their families. Seeing the positive impact that personalised support, advocacy, and creative problem-solving could have inspired her to pursue a career where she could continue helping people navigate challenges and achieve meaningful outcomes.

Alexia is passionate about advocating for families and finding practical, individualised solutions that make a genuine difference. She believes that with the right support, everyone has the opportunity to build confidence, overcome barriers, and achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Alexia enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and believes a good coffee is essential for a successful day. She loves cooking and often creates elaborate dishes requiring hours of preparation—only to remember her audience is two small children who would happily choose toast.
